Review by Cristy for King & I Thai Restaurant

My husband and I had been visiting friends in Oak Park. I am newly vegan (since nov 15th, 2008), I used my web phone searching keyword "vegan, Oak Park" and found The King and I. The reason I went was the review said they make ALL dishes to order...YUMM!!! We got there on a Tuesday evening @ 9:30pm and we were seated and eating in 5 min. The staff was one of the most friendly I have encountered. They also were very patient with me and ALL of my vegan questions. I loved it. They made me feel like my vegan diet was "no big deal" and made me my first VEGAN PAD THAI...WOW... I didn't even know it could taste so good. The King and I is my new favorite Thai Resturant!!! If you LOVE Thai food, The King and I is the place to be.
