I was taken there for my 65th birthday 'surprise'...surprise the temperature in the room we were put in..was almost as cold as the outside temperature. They put up two portable heaters to 'try' to make the room warmer. Didn't help. My son and daughter-in-law and grand kids had to leave early...cause it was too bloody cold. When my girlfriend complained the arrogant owner had the audacity to suggest that our party should have had more to drink. The oysters were very good (appetizers), the meal itself was disappointing at best. The salad was ok, the soup better than okay, the cheesy grits and potatoes, seemed a bit too much starch..one would have been good with a vegetable...did you ever hear of those??? And the soft shell crab in risotto, well, I didn't know if I was eating risotto or soft shell crab as it was all blended together in a mush. when desert was severed, my cake, which was very good, the cup the coffee was put in..was soooooo cold my cousin had to hold the cup up to the temporary heat source to get the coffee warmer... The last time I was there, it was a great place, unfortunately it is under NEW ownership. And, it wouldn't surprise me, if he, the arrogant owner told me I should have been born in a warmer month..like August!
