Barclay’s has replaced Philander’s, a well known and popular restaurant in downtown Oak Park. It is connected to the Carleton Hotel.
Barclay’s offers a relaxed, casual dining experience with burgers, BBQ ribs, fresh seafood and an array of steaks and chops are prepared on a wood burning grill and served with homemade sauces and various toppings.

Moved Philanders downscale but not to the point of being a Poor Phil's competitor. Well, that was a waste of time and money. I tried really hard but couldn't find much flavor in either the appetizer or main course. My wife felt the same. She was then disappointed in her dessert. Bon appetit.
