I don't like Chinese food, but their vegetarian egg rolls and fried rice is pretty good for a small take out place. I never get delivery, cause it's not that hard to drive a few blocks but I've always had a good experience with this place.

Well, I placed my order for delivery over an hour and a half ago and still haven't received it and I live only 6 blocks away. Needlesstosay, I will not be ordering from this place again. There are less expensive options throughout the area with decent food and fast delivery - check out Tasty House on Roosevelt Road for instance. I called them several times - each time the guy said he called the driver and he'd be here shortly. Eventually, he calls back and says the driver will be here in 10 minutes. It did arrive, albeit it cold as I feared. They did discount the price, but it wasn't worth it. They were at least honest enough to send the driver back to refund my money. A very unpleasent experience overall.

The young lady who waited on me is named Yan...at least that is what the receipt says. I asked Yan questions about the daily special advertised on their window. I asked her if the dish was prepared in a sauce and if so what kind of sauce. I ask her if the dish is hot or mild. She became visibly upset with me after I asked her the first question. The more questions I asked the more agitated she became. She responded a couple of times with short, quick, poorly enunciated answers. I still continued to try to communicate with her even though at this point I felt disrespected. As I tried to understand what she was saying, she would get louder and practically yell. At this point the entire restaurant was witnessing her behavior. She then started ignoring me by answering the phone and playing with receipts at the register. When she finally addressed me again, I thought about walking out but instead I just pointed to a picture on the menu and hoped for the best. She "Clearly" stated the price and asked for my ID. I love Asian food and frequent Asian restaurants often. I will not patronize this restaurant again. I do not appreciate being treated that way and I don't receive rude service in other establishments in the surrounding area. My experience in there was stressful. The message I received was clear, "Know what you want before you get to the counter, point to it and don't ask any questions. Otherwise, you're a problem customer." I ordered Black Pepper Pinapple Chicken. It was bland. The crab rangoon and bottled water were good. The portion was okay and the price was okay too (little less than $5). The cheap price doesn't make up for the bad service I received.
